Under the Noon Gun, situated in sunny Bo-Kaap, central Cape Town, provides you with the privacy and independence associated with apartment living. Two well-appointed self catering apartments sleeping 8 and 6 people respectively make up this gracious Bo-Kaap holiday home.

These apartments can be rented as either separate units or combined for an extra large holiday home. In addition, a third apartment on the ground floor is also available. This is ideally suited for a single person or couple. Located on the edge of a nature reserve, the peaceful and tranquil surroundings belies the fact that one is merely 3 minutes away from the city itself.

Using the cobbled streets as your guide, wind your way uphill into a lively suburb filled with brightly colored houses from the 17th and 19th century. The Bo-Kaap area is a multicultural area and is very popular with many holiday makers. The residents, who are mostly descendants of the slaves imported by the Dutch settlers in the early 1700's, are very proud of their rich cultural heritage.

The area itself has splendid views of Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill as well as the City Centre and is a photographers dream. Many beautiful mosques also adorn the area. Visit Table Mountain (5 min drive), Cape Town's famous beaches (10 - 20 min), Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (10 min), Cape Point (1 hr), the Winelands (45 mins) and many other attractions.

50% Non-refundable deposit required to confirm booking, direct or internet deposit.

Proof of payment is to be faxed to +27 021 423 4619 in order to confirm the reservation.

Balance of payment is due on/before arrival.

Cancellation policy:

Deposit will not be refunded if a booking is cancelled.

In most cases we will allow early check-ins and late check-outs if the apartment is available. Please advise us if you require early check-in or late check out.

Other terms:

The Guest will make good any damages or loss caused by himself or his party and this will be charged to the final account to be paid on departure.

VIA THE N1 TO CAPE TOWN

Follow the N1 motorway towards Cape Town City Centre, direction V&A Waterfront. At the first set of traffic lights, at the end of the highway, the road becomes Buitengracht Street with the Cape Town International Convention Centre on your LEFT. Continue straight on into Buitengracht Street towards Table Mountain.

At the intersection of Wale & Buitengracht Street, turn right into Bo-Kaap. Drive along the only road winding up pass the flats (Restaurant Bismillah is on the right). At Longmarket Street, turn left then left again. We are at 19 Ella Street.

VIA THE N2 TO CAPE TOWN

From Cape Town International Airport follow the N2 motorway towards Cape Town City Centre. Continue along the N2 for at least 15 - 20 minutes, direction V&A Waterfront.
