Hout Bay is known as a charming fishing village nestled in the natural cove between Chapman’s Peak and the Sentinel Mountains. A beautiful mile long beach which offers safe bathing for even the very young.

Policies & disclaimers

A Villa Africa (VA) consultant will send an initial quote in response to an enquiry.  Once the quote is accepted, a deposit is required for the consultant to then book and confirm all required services.

DEPOSITS REQUIRED

• 30% of the total cost of the booking is required at the time of booking.
• The balance is due to VA on or before 6 weeks prior to departure.  In some cases – such as peak periods payment conditions and cancellation rules may vary – your consultant will advise you.
• To avoid double bank charges, payment can also be made in full.
• VA reserves the right to cancel reservations, if the deposit and/or balance of payment is not received in due time.

PRICES

• The rates mentioned in your invoice are in South African Rand. The rates remain subject to change and VA reserves the right to pass on any increases in rates that may occur until you have paid in full.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION (and associated cancellation and change costs thereafter)

• Once you have paid your deposit we will book your accommodation.
• Please note the cancellation charges and conditions below.
• Please make sure you have relevant travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances causing cancellation either before or during your holiday.
• It is recommended that you provide your consultant with the policy number and emergency contact details in case of an emergency.

CHANGES

• Any changes made once you have received your invoice (final booking cost sheet) result in a R250 admin fee, plus any costs associated with actually changing the service.  Requests for changes must be made in writing.

FLIGHTS

• VA requires your flight details of your client as soon as possible so we can notify the property approximately what time you will be checking in.
• Kindly instruct your bank when paying, to take into consideration the banking fees in order for VA to receive the full amount of the invoice.

By paying your deposit to VA you are indicating your acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Driving directions

When you leave the airport you will follow the signs for Cape Town - N2 motorway. When approaching the city you will see signs for M5 - Muizenberg – keep on the motorway until you see signs for the M3 Muizenberg.

You need to take the M3 lane (up to the left) and this takes you on to De Waal Drive. This road takes you past Mosterts Mill Windmill on the left and you will pass the University of Cape Town on your right.

Carry on until you come to traffic lights and the signs for Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens  - (right lane). Turn right at the lights and carry on past the Botanical Gardens and up the hill turning right at the top & follow signs for Hout Bay.

At Constantia Nek you will come around a small traffic circle - right – and start to go down the hill towards Hout Bay. Carry on down the Main Road until you get to the traffic circle at Imizamo Yethu (African township) and go around the traffic circle - right – follow this road to the traffic lights and go left into Victoria Road.

Continue down Victoria Road – passing Spar & KFC on your left.  Carry on straight down and Victoria Beach apartments is situated on your right – just before the roundabout.

On the ground floor you will see the sign for Triple AAA Travel on the wall. The apartments are accessed to the right of the office entrance.
