Those seeking cheap accommodation are cautioned that only self catering accommodation which carries the Tourism Grading Council Star Grading, such as ours, has to comply with exacting standards to ensure our guest’s complete satisfaction.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Horizon Cottages is a customer focused family run business and therefore likes to keep rules to the minimum. Please, however, take note of the terms and conditions under which our accommodation is rented out, in the interest of maintaining our peaceful and harmonious environment.
Airport Transfers: transfers to Cape Town airport arranged- current rate is R 350 with R 50 extra for late or early pick up. Rates may vary
Tours of Cape Town attractions: Please let us arrange tours of the popular attractions including wine tasting tours conducted by a licensed Cape Town tour guide at inexpensive rates.
Check in Time : Standard Check-in is from 2pm and we are happy to accommodate late arrivals
Check out Time: Check out Monday to Saturday is before 10.30am ~ Sunday by 12 noon although an extended checkout may be available by arrangement, dependant upon the next arrival. Your cooperation will assist us in providing a good service to the next guests to arrive
Noise: Noordhoek is a haven of peace and tranquility, and guests are requested to moderate noise, especially at night. Loud playing of music is not permitted- Horizons is not a party venue.
Pets – although we love animals, we do not have any, as not all of our guests appreciate them. We are sorry, but pets are not allowed
Smoking. In the interest of the comfort of all of our guests, we do not permit smoking in the accommodation. Ashtrays are provided on the stoeps. Thanks for your understanding
Overnight visitors of guests are not permitted.
Final payment : please settle the balance of the accommodation fee upon arrival or as soon as it is conveniently possible
Servicing. Our units are serviced twice a week, with towels and linen changed. Should guests wish the unit to be serviced daily this can be arranged at additional cost of R60 per day.
Laundry: we have a collection every 2 days at inexpensive rates, ironing can be included.

CANCELATION POLICY
In the case of no arrival or cancellation 0-7 days prior to arrival clients forfeit 100% of the total amount paid.
In the case of a cancellation 7-21 days before arrival, clients forfeit 75% of the total amount paid
Should the client cancel 21-90 days before arrival he will forfeit 30 % of the total amount paid.
Early departure does not entitle a guest to a refund
Cabanas (sleeps 2): We have 2 bright and airy cabanas decorated in modern African style, offering spacious double bed; lounge area with TV; en-suite bathroom with shower; fully fitted kitchen and breakfast bar with fridge, stove and microwave. Sliding glass doors open to a private deck with spectacular views of Noordhoek lakes, and face the garden, bbq (braai) and pool area.
Captain's Cottage (Sleeps 6): Our breezy beach cottage sleeps 4 – 6 in 1 double bedroom, 1 with twin beds, and a fold out extra double bed in the lounge. Dining room is separate. Bathroom has bath with shower, vanity and toilet. Enjoy preparing meals in the open plan, fully equipped self catering kitchen, including fridge/freezer, stove with oven and microwave oven. There is a door from the lounge to the covered stoep facing a large private secure garden with a braai/bbq, where children can play in safety. The stoep has a table/bench set where you can relax or dine outdoors and enjoy the spectacular sunsets for which Noordhoek is justifiably famous.

Driving directions
Directions from Cape Town International Airport:
Take the N2 Highway towards Cape Town; as you approach the foot of Table mountain, take the left exit M3 Muizenberg, and travel until the end of this highway- past UCT and famous Bishop's Court. Continue on this road which becomes the Blue Route Highway across the Constantia valley until you reach a T-junction at the foot of the mountain and turn right towards Simonstown and Fish Hoek (signposted). Take the first fork to the left into Ou Kaapse Weg and enjoy a scenic drive over the mountain, do not take the first Noordhoek/Camps bay exit at Silvermine Road but continue to the bottom of the valley and turn right into Noordhoek Ave, towards Chapmans Peak drive M6 (clearly marked with a large welcome sign ) Turn first right into Sea Cottage Drive- we are the log cabin at number 9- look out for the brown tourist direction signs. Directions from N1 Highway
As you approach Cape Town you will note Century City; largest shopping mall in South Africa on your right. Move to the left lane and take the M5 Muizenberg exit. Proceed along this highway (Black River Park)a short distance keeping left, and take the N2 Cape Town exit to your left; the road sweeps sharply around and then you head toward the foot of Table Mountain. Take the M3 Muizenberg exit and follow directions above.
