Forty minutes from the Waterfront, ten minutes from Simon's Town (with its many restaurants, fine swimming beaches and naval bustle) or Fishhoek (fine swimming beach, movies and shopping), Boulders Beach (home of the African Penguin) and adjacent to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Scarborough is within easy travelling distance of all the Cape's major attractions.

Other draw cards include the finest whale, dolphin and bird watching while sporting enthusiasts can enjoy all sporting codes from golf (Clovelly and Simon’s Town) to deep sea angling nearby.

Camel Rock Restaurant is within walking distance and the Cape Farmhouse Restaurant is a five minute ride away. Other good restaurants, spectacular sightseeing and shopping/entertainment malls are situated within easy reach.

Driving directions

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

• From the main exit at Cape Town International Airport follow signs to N2 CITY Motorway.
• Follow this motorway towards the city past various off ramps until you see the sign post M3 MUIZENBERG.  Take this off ramp
• Follow this route past the University of Cape Town on your right and through the suburbs of Newlands, Bishops Court, Constantia and Tokai.
• At the end of the motor way, when you reach the traffic lights at the t junction, turn right.
• After crossing a bridge and several intersections turn left onto the sign posted M64 OUKAAPSEWEG.  Continue over the pass.
• At the bottom of the pass, travel through Sun Valley passing the shopping centres on you right. (Stop here for groceries and supplies if you need them.)
• Pass through one set of traffic lights.  At the next set of traffic lights turn right on the sign posted M65 KOMMETJIE road.
• Follow this road until you pass Oceanview suburb on your left.
• At the Police Station turn left on the sign posted SCARBOROUGH/CAPE POINT road.
• Follow this road until you reach a 4 way stop junction with the sea in front of you.  Turn left.
• Continue along M65 through the area sign posted as MISTY CLIFFS.  About 2 km further on you will reach the village of SCARBOROUGH.
• Just beyond a curious rock formation, known as Camel Rock on your right, and the Camel Rock Restaurant on your left, you will reach a stop street.  Turn right into CAMEL ROCK RD.
• Continue down Camel Rock Rd past the next intersection with Egret Rd. At the next intersection turn right into SEAGULL  RD.
• GONE TO THE BEACH VILLA is on your right on the corner of CAMEL ROCK and SEAGULL RD.
