The farm is about 30 km from the nearest town and 175 km from Cape Town. The farmhouse is self-catering, fully equipped with a kitchen that offers you a complete range of crockery, cutlery, a stove, fridge, microwave. The house consists of 2 bedrooms, both with double beds and 2 single beds. Linen for the double beds are provided. A spacious open plan kitchen and living area with an indoor braai/fireplace is situated in the kitchen.
A television (SABC 1, 2, 3,e-tv and free DSTV channels) is available. You are welcome to bring your own DSTV card. Outside barbeque facilities are available underneath a big roofed stoep - we provide the wood and grid. Nearby campsite's swimming pool is available for swimming.

The hiring of the cottage for one night during the week carries a levy of R 50 .
In school holidays a minimum of 2 nights occupation is required.
A 50% deposit of the full quoted amount is due before arrival.

The remaining amount is to be settled also via bank transfer before arrival.

Cancellation Policy
You will still need to pay:
Prior to 60 days before arrival ‐ 5% of the deposit.
30 to 59 days before arrival ‐ 50% of the deposit.
15 to 29 days before arrival ‐ 100% of the deposit.
14 days or less before arrival ‐ 100% of the booking fee.
Please note that all refunds are subject to a 15% Handling / administration fee, of the full value of your stay and will be charged to you / deducted from your deposit in the event of any cancellation
The cottage is a 2 bedroomed house and sleeps a maximum of 8 people. Each bedroom has a double and a single bunk bed, bedding is supplied for the 2 double beds only. Bedding for single beds can be arranged with an additional cost of R 50 per person. A built-in fireplace/braai in the open plan kitchen ensures a good time no matter the weather. Bathroom has a shower and bath. The cottage is equipped with all the "mod cons" including a TV with 20 channels.

Take the N7 National Road north Go past the following towns (or stop and visit if you wish) * Malmesbury * Morreesburg * Piketburg
At the top of the Piekenierskloof Pass turn left - if you get to Citrusdal you have gone to far, turn around! - Sign says "Paleisheuwel" Follow the tarred road, which becomes a gravel road straight for about 18km. Turn right at the road sign for the campsite, follow the signs and go carefully over the small bridge by the river. Follow the arrow to the camp and then take the turn off at the guest farm sign. Our offices are situated at the Wilgerbosdrif turnoff about 500m before the campsite turnoff.
