Spear Chukka Self Catering in Yzerfontein; a quaint fishing village on the West Coast, approximately 80 kilometers from Cape Town on the R27; is a fully equipped self catering cottage that sleeps four adults comfortably with an optional double sleeper couch in the lounge for two kids.

Yzerfontein is a perfect holiday location and weekend getaway for rock and surf fishing as well as diving, surfing and boogie boarding or simply enjoying the seaside. Spectacular sea life can be seen at various times throughout the year - whales, seals, dolphins to name a few. The adjacent vlei's add to the magnificent bird life in the area.

Spear Chukka’s self catering cottage has two spacious double rooms both with en-suite bathrooms, a comfy lounge with DSTV and fully equipped open plan kitchen with fridge, freezer and microwave and private outdoor braai / bbq area. All linen and bath towels are provided. Please bring beach towels.

The cottage is located in a quiet corner on the north side of Yzerfontein where it borders the West Coast National Park. The adjacent Fynbos, pan and vlei area are home to a large variety of birds, the most fascinating being the endangered African Black Oyster Catcher. Flanked with beautiful, untouched, safe beaches stretching all the way along the adjacent West Coast National Park. Yzerfontein also has a picturesque harbor suitable for launching boats. Our famous 16 Mile beach is 5 minutes walk away.

Deposit:
Minimum 50 % deposit required to confirm booking
Balance payable on arrival before occupation.

Cancellations:
Failure of the customer to arrive, or cancellations made 0 to 14 days prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 100% of the payment.
Cancellations made 15 to 28 days prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 75% of the payment.
Cancellations made 29 days or more prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 50% of the payment
