Berghof Guesthouse is 40 minutes from Cape Town and only a few minutes from the historical centre of Paarl. This picturesque town is the 3rd oldest town in South Africa and is dominated by the 2nd largest granite outcrop in the world. It was these granite boulders glistening in the sun after some rain that inspired Abraham Gabbema, in 1657, to name the mountain "the Diamond and Pearl Mountain" from which the name Paarl was later derived.

All of our 17 comfortable en-suite rooms have panoramic views over Paarl Mountain or Paarl Valley. Relax at our swimming pool and share the space with wonderful bird life. For the more adventurous there are numerous mountain biking, hiking and 4x4 trails in the near vicinity.

Child Policy:

All children are welcome.

Children up to the gae of 3 stay free.

Children up to the age of 12 pay 50% sharing rate.

Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1. There is no capacity for cots in the room

Deposit Conditions:

50% of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

Cancellation policy:

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

In most cases we will allow early check-ins and late check-outs if the room is available. Please advise us if you require early check-in or late check out.

The Guest will make good any damages or loss caused by himself or his party and this will be charged to the final account to be paid on departure. No pets are allowed.

From Cape Town take the N1 Paarl (North) direction.

Take Exit 55 - R45 R101 Main Street . After approx. 5km turn left into Mill Street (just after McDonalds Restaurant) and follow Mill Street for approx. 1km. Turn left into Plein Street and then right into Monte Cristo Avenue. Follow Monte Cristo Avenue till the end of the road.

From Cape Town International Airport take the N2 Somerset West direction.

Take the R300 Bellville turn off. Take the N1 Paarl turn off (North direction). Take Take Exit 55 - R45 R101 Main Street. After approx. 5km turn left into Mill Street (just after McDonalds Restaurant) and follow Mill Street for approx. 1km. Turn left into Plein Street and then right into Monte Cristo Avenue. Follow Monte Cristo Avenue till the end of the road.
