Situated at the gateway to the Jonkershoek Valley in Stellenbosch, we offer the tranquility of country life with the convenience of the proximity of the Stellenbosch village. Rozendal has been farming organically since 1994 and have for the past two years been using the biodynamic approach in both our winemaking and farming.
Our rooms are situated between the vineyards with majestic mountain views of the Stellenbosch and Simonsberg mountains, providing an environment of beauty and tranquillity. Guests are accommodated in simple elegance and comfort.

Our restaurant is open to the public 7 days a week and is situated in the homestead, offers a set menu consisting of dishes created using ingredients that are always seasonal, a large portion of which are taken straight from our bio-dynamic garden.

Policies & disclaimers
Bookings are only confirmed once credit card details have been received or a cash deposit of 50% of the total booking value has been received. Once this has been done it is agreed that the conditions of the cancellation policy have been accepted. Although credit cards are not pre-charged for deposits, the cancellation fee will be calculated using 50% of the total booking value.
Cancellation charges are levied under the following conditions:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival date will not be subject to a cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made between 15 and 29 days prior to arrival date will forfeit 50% of the cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made between 1 and 14 days prior to arrival will forfeit 100% of the cancellation fee.
- If the cancelled rooms can be re-sold only a 10% handling fee will be charged.
- No-shows will be levied at 100% of the total booking value.
• We suggest that all travellers take out cancellation insurance. We will be pleased to render an invoice to your insurers in the event of a claim. We always confirm cancellations in writing. Please demand written acknowledgement that we have accepted your cancellation. This is the only proof of cancellation we will accept.
